Brodie and Emilie felt the time was right to create a place where musicians can truly show their crafted work, with a focus on contemporary, original, jazz-influenced music with a strong improvisatory element to it. Given that so many of Glasgow’s creative scene live in this area, and the Glad Cafe’s significant presence on the music scene, it was the perfect location for this night.
